As Memorial Day weekend unfolds, America is under siege by Islamic terrorists and North African rebels. The fear that has gripped the nation is greater than that of 9/11. The lack of military response and the seemingly ambushed government leaves one wondering if this is the end of the United States? Posing as cab drivers, street vendors and parking lot attendants, the terrorist have gone undetected by top intelligence agencies. Having learned our cities, streets and emergency response strategies they quickly squash any immediate response by local, state and federal agencies leaving the nation’s capitol crippled and destroyed. Not since the days of our forefathers has the White House, US Capitol and other tourist landmarks been decimated.

Reggie Harris, native Washingtonian and independent taxi driver soon finds himself in a struggle with terrorist leaders Kha-li Abnon and Jachezi Kulmeini for the life of President Patrick Haley. As the terrorist attempt to kidnap the President, Reggie becomes the good Samaritan. Will his actions cause greater problems for the US? What will happen should the President be killed? Is the fall of the United States eminent.

E. Depazia Graham weaves an intricate tale of political dysfunction and religious conflict and intrigues your mind to believe, that what you see is really the beginning of a world right at your doorstep.

I accidently ordered this in the wee hours of the morning because I couldn't sleep. After twenty pages in, I realized this order was a big mistake. This book did have it's page turning moments, but I was embarrassed to read such a poorly written, sophmetric novel. The scenarios presented right from the beginning were preposterous and ill-conceived, not to mention poor plot formation. Try reading Ken Follett or Vince Flynn for two examples of well thought out, substantial novels.

ONE NATION The Overthrow Begins edition by E DePazia Graham Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

An ABSOLUTE great read. It was difficult to put the book down for wanting to know what would happen next. Extremely interesting and very invigorating.
Filled with action and suspense, but also humor and "humanity," this story is like a wild and wonderful ride on a roller coaster. And while the situation is hard to believe (I won't give it away!), it is written in such a way that it actually does seem plausible! Apocalyptic, with death and destruction everywhere we turn - yet hopeful and heartwarming at the same time. I can envision this on the big screen!
Edge of the seat thrills! Can't put the book down as it went from one exciting escapade to another. A must read for thrilling terrorist "what if" scenarios. Graham uses his knowledge of Washington, DC, to bring the "can never happen here" to reality. A surprise ending that you won't see coming.
